Court Decision

Lingood won the first instance in April 2023

The Intermediate People's Court of Wuxi City made a first-instance judgment on this counterclaim, holding that the patent infringement lawsuit filed by Jinyinhe constituted a malicious lawsuit. It ordered Jinyinhe to compensate Lingood for reasonable expenses and issue a public statement on the "China Capital Market Service Platform" to eliminate the negative impact.

Jinyinhe re-appealed in May 2023

Jinyinhe filed an appeal with the Intermediate People's Court of Wuxi City, requesting the court to revoke part of the first-instance judgment, overturn the ruling that Lingood was guilty of patent infringement, and claim 23.08 million yuan in compensation, etc.

Lingood won the second instance in October 2024

One year after the case was accepted, the Supreme People's Court ultimately determined that Lingood Company did not infringe upon the patent rights of Jinyinhe and rejected Jinyinhe's appeal request, upholding the original judgment of the first instance. At the same time, the court ruled that the patent infringement lawsuit filed by Jinyinhe constituted a malicious lawsuit, and ordered Jinyinhe to compensate Lingood for reasonable expenses and issue a public statement to eliminate the negative impact.
