April 26th is World Intellectual Property Day. It was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization on April 26th, 2001. The purpose is to establish a worldwide awareness of respecting knowledge, advocating science and protecting intellectual property rights, and to create a legal environment that encourages knowledge innovation.

In the 1980s, it was an era when China's modern industry was in the ascendant. The production equipment market in China had long been dominated by foreign brands. Domestic companies were trapped in the vortex of low-end products and low-end markets due to technological limitations. Mr. Hongliang Wang, chairman of LinGood, came up with an idea, since the imported production line is so advanced but expensive, why can't we Chinese make it by ourselves?

This equipment adopts automated control, which not only can reduce labor costs and improves the working environment, but also solves problem of unstable batching, and makes it more accurate. 

It is an important part of the process industrial production lines in plastics, chemicals, food, rubber, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, new energy, and other industries.. However, due to long-term technology monopoly in Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries, its selling price has remained high for a long time, which is a considerable cost burden on related domestic enterprises.

With this belief, he and his team overcame difficulties and worked tirelessly. Finally, in 1991, they made China's first loss-in-weight feeder through independent research and innovation. His team broke the foreign technology monopoly and drove down the prices of similar products from American, German and Japanese companies. LinGood also become the pride of China's national brand.

LinGood believes that independent research and innovation are the source of enterprise development and require continuous investment. Therefore, LinGood is not stingy on costs in research and development, and invests a large amount of money in developing new technologies every year. The unremitting efforts have brought huge rewards. In 2014, LinGood was jointly rated as a high-tech enterprise by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, Jiangsu Provincial State Taxation Bureau, and Jiangsu Provincial Local Taxation Bureau. In 2015, LinGood is listed on the New Third Board. In 2016, LinGood entered the innovation level of the New Third Board and won the Science and Technology Progress Award of Wuxi.

Innovation is the first driving force for development, and protecting intellectual property is protecting innovation. Commercial success can only be achieved through clear intellectual property strategy and effective patent portfolio management that promote effective patent protection.

At present, LinGood has more than 30 independent intellectual property such as patents, integrated circuit layout designs, and computer software copyrights. In 2017, it obtained the Wuxi Science and Technology Research and Development Institution Certificate, and Intellectual Property Management System Certification Enterprise.
